What’s PC Virtualization? It’s a new way of managing your software and operations that leverages “the cloud” - instead of installing programs and applications on a number of expensive PCs in your facility, CareWorx Virtual Clients are connected to a virtual server that houses all your software.
Why is this a benefit?
Traditional software installations require you to buy multiple copies of programs, or multi-user versions, that need to be installed on each and every machine you have running. On top of that, when you need to upgrade or install patches to those programs, you have to do it on each and every machine you’ve got it installed on. This is time consuming and redundant. PC Virtualization replaces all those stand-alone machines with one virtual server that acts as the main operating system for your organization. Then, instead of buying a number of laptops and/or desktops with their own hard drives and operating systems, you use virtual client machines - sort of stripped down PCs - that are connected to your virtual server, and all run the same version of the same software, without the need for installing or maintaining it. These virtual clients are also much easier to manage and maintain as they have a lot fewer parts that could wear out and they take up as much desk space as a mouse pad.
